Day 3 in Namwon. Today the qualifications took place. More than 120 pilots fight in 3 qualifying heats for the entry into the Mains, which start on Sunday. So the goal of the Swiss pilots was to fly under the first 64. Not an easy thing to do with such a top field and the challenge of the track.
The whole day was peppered with highly interesting races. The world’s top pilots fought for every centimeter on the track.
Our team had some nice successes. But in the end only Marvin Schäpper managed to fly under the top 64.
A bit disappointed about the result, we are now looking forward to tomorrow. The additional rounds for the pilots with rank 65 and more are coming up. Marvin has to face the 1 and 2 elimination rounds tomorrow.
